THE RHYTHM LAB- THUNDER BAY

The tap intensive runs for three days, followed by a Live Music Workshop on the fourth day. Be sure to arrive before class. We start on time and go for the full time allotted. Parents will be invited in on the final day to watch a mini performance of some technique drills and routine.

FAST BEGINNER - June 10th-12th, 2024 @ 5:00-5:45

This class is designed for dancers age 7-10 or ANY beginner tap dancer of ANY age. During the three day intensive, we will be working on the fundamentals of tap through drills, musicality exercises and a routine. This class is ideal for anyone who has been tap dancing for a minimum of one year.

ADULT TAP - June 13th, 2024 @7:45-8:45

This class is designed for adults who are tap dancing on a regular basis and for those looking to dust off their tap shoes.  This will be an open level class. We will be working on the fundamentals of tap through drills, with a strong focus on musicality and finish with a short routine. This class is ideal for anyone who has been tap dancing for a minimum of one year.

LIVE MUSIC WORKSHOP - June 13th, 2024 @ 6:00-7:30

In this course, we will concentrate on the fundamentals of improvisation, with a focus on the relationship between tap and music. Students will learn music theory, how to work with song structure and the opportunity to dance with live music. This one is popular among the students and fills up quickly!
